Authors Inspire is a Giving Back Program that connects Companies with Children’s Authors with the goal to Inspire & Empower deserving Kids in the community of your choice.
How it works:

Companies Donate the Books
Generous companies that want to give back to their communities fund the book donation, which means providing one book to every child at the author visit. Each book will include a custom co-branded bookplate sticker with the sponsor’s logo that is also signed by the author, Lowey Sichol. At the day of the author visit, employees at your company are encouraged to attend, help pass out books, say a few words to the children, and take photos.
Cost: This depends on number of books donated and the cost of each book (e.g. paperbacks are cheaper than hardcover picture books). Usually each author visit donates between 200-500 books and the cost ranges between $1,500-$5,000/ visit.

Authors Donate the School Visit
Lowey connects with participating Title 1 school(s) and coordinates her free in-person author visit. Each visit is ~45 minutes long and gets children excited about entrepreneurship and dreaming big! The donated books are distributed at the end of the author visit and photos are taken with the students, Lowey and the sponsor.
Every book received includes a personalizes bookplate sticker so it’s extra special for the kids.

Students, Teachers, & Schools Win!
The big winners of the Authors Inspire community are the students and educators in the selected Title 1 elementary schools! Most of these children have never seen or met an author, heard an author talk, and many don’t even own their own book.
Authors Inspire brings this once in a lifetime author visit and book donation to kids at Title 1 schools. Children walk away inspired, empowered, and filled with big dreams.

Author visits are often a once-in-a-lifetime moment for children, yet most schools cannot afford them. AUTHORS INSPIRE bridges that gap by bringing some of the nation’s best children’s authors and their books to deserving schools in low-income communities.

You are funding the author visit, which includes 1 donated book to every child in the author visit. You are able to select which community your author visit will be in so this could be near your headquarters or store locations or just where it is needed most.
This is a great opportunity for Employee Engagement, which means your employees are invited to help hand out books, and take photos with the author, educators, and students.
Each book will also include a co-branded bookplate stickers that the author personalizes.

As a receipient, you receive: one free author visit for your school + hundreds of the author’s books, one per child.

Schools are responsible for providing a large, safe space with the appropriate AV needs for the author visit. Schools are also responsible for placing the bookplate stickers in each book before the author visit date.
